“I want to pass on our thanks for the very positive difference the Shiatsu treatments have made to our horses. BIG WHEEL (WILLIAM) was the first of our horses to be treated and he became a different horse, the treatments released his tension, he became more relaxed and free in his work.
WILLIAM had done quite well as a race horse but he came home from training after he became very poorly in 2005 with a virus, so much so that I thought we were going to lose him. He did recover, albeit very slowly. In Autumn 2006 I began to ride him again with a view to train him as a riding horse, as part of his rehabilitation we had all the usual checks, ie, bloods, endoscope, osteopath etc and began steady work. He was ‘OK’ but just not thriving as I knew he should or could. Our friends recommended a Shiatsu treatment for him and even after just one session there was an improvement. It was as if he started to ‘glow’ from within. He began to move with more freedom and energy, he was happier in his work and really flowing, flexing and moving forward, even in the stable he was more relaxed. We continued with the Shiatsu treatments and he went from strength to strength, so much so he raced again and won a substantial race at Sedgfield later that season.”

“Just to let you know today’s training session went well. Christopher [Bartle] thought it was the most relaxed he has ever seen LADY work. I felt she was freer in her movement all-round, so fingers crossed. She also is happier to come forward and be caught in the field, more consistently, than previously. THANK YOU”

“We can’t believe the difference Shiatsu has made to GAYLORD who really was a very poorly horse before you looked at him. He has started to regain condition and no longer appears stiff, angry and miserable. He is much easier to work with and is moving with freedom and enthusiasm - and no longer bucks!”

“I can highly recommend Shiatsu from Gaynor, she has very successfully treated myself and my horse, TALLY, for muscle tension and tightness. After treatment I felt invigorated and aching muscles eased. She is very easy to talk to, she happily explained what she was doing as she worked on TALLY and gave me exercises to do with him on a regular basis.”

“TARA is already finding her flatwork much easier. She’s a lot more relaxed. CAL is being absolute star! I can now long rein him alone through the woods and back. Thank you so much for the Shiatsu sessions. They have obviously made a huge difference and thank you for doing me, I can’t believe how much better my back/shoulder is feeling.”

“My horse was a pre-puchase vet failure with serious conformation problems. He receives regular Shiatsu sessions during which he visibly relaxes and enjoys his treatment, with the physical and mental benefits lasting well after each session. Shiatsu has helped improve his overall well-being and his competitive results back this up too as he gains consistent marks and is always in the ribbons. I know Zero to Hero must feel refreshed and revitalised as I have also had Shiatsu sessions and really felt the benefits”

"Gaynor has been treating me and my horse GANDE with shiatsu for the past 3 years. We've both had some physical problems due to injury and the treatments have made a huge difference. I first met Gaynor when she began giving me lessons on GANDE, when I found out about Shiatsu I was keen to try it. It made a huge difference to GANDE'S way of going and overall condition. After having sessions myself I feel physically better than I have done in a long time and GANDE is like a different horse. With Gaynor's help and support we've even taken part in a couple of dressage competitions - a first for both of us!"

“Hello Gaynor, many thanks for all your time. The boys were great today after their shiatsu yesterday. Lorpas was very ‘unusually’ chilled out, no spooks at all! Wesley spent the whole morning in his bed snoring & dreaming about whatever horses dream about! He was however full of the joys when he eventually got up and went for a walk and mum said he was hardly swinging his hind leg out. Thanks for everything you did, that will be the first of many Shiatsu sessions for us all!”

“Hi Gaynor - I am delighted that there has been a huge improvement for Rocks since you worked with him. The latest from the vet is that his CPK level is now 900 after being 153,000 just one week ago. He says that it is astonishing how he has recovered so quickly from such massive levels. The good news is that his kidney function is also at the lower level so absolutely no evidence of any, even slight, damage which is amazing!!
I really appreciate the work you are doing.”
Ros Denby, whose endurance horse had suffered from bouts of Equine Rhabdomyolosis.
“I would very much like it if you would come back out as I really think the shiatsu has done Flash some good and he can only benefit from another session. I have been doing the few exercises that you showed me on Monday and have thoroughly enjoyed doing them. I feel that Flash and I have re-connected and indeed have done so on a deeper level too, which is absolutely wonderful and for which I cannot thank you enough! He really is such a lovely friend and I've missed him lately.”
