Dressage Instruction, Rehabilitation & Schooling Livery

My stables are situated at my home on the beautiful Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway. I am able to offer short term full livery for horses & ponies requiring very regular Shiatsu sessions or a series of sessions combined with in-hand or ridden schooling.

I have a 24m x 60m sand, fibre & rubber arena, individual turn-out paddocks (with companions available) and large, airy, rubber floored stables (minimum size 12ft x 15ft).

Short term full livery is also available to people wanting to leave their horse/pony for schooling whilst they are on holiday. I can also offer a limited number of long term livery places for owners wanting their horse’s produced & competed in dressage competitions and in hand / ridden showing classes. I am also able to ride & produce ponies above 13.2hh & have an assistant who can ride the smaller ones.

I am a listed Brtiish Drressage dressage judge and trainer. My clients include British Dressage National Championships prize winners, 2010 Horse of Year Show Working Hunter Champion, plus may HOYS & RIHS finalists & prize winners, BE competitiors from intro to intermediate, and many riding & pony club riders. I teach from home and throughout Dumfries & Galloway & will travel for clinics.

Courses are also available where over a 2/3 day period horse & rider each receive shiatsu sessions, the owner can learn and practice basic techniques that will assist in keeping the horse healthy and supple. This can be combined with dressage tuition, jumping or beach riding to make a longer break. Owners/riders will find a choice of B & B establishments in the village 5 minutes walk along the beach!
